About David Hyams

Thank you for visiting SDG Law! One of the five great “solas” of the Reformation, Soli Deo Gloria is not only the inspiration of the firm’s name, it is the purpose of the firm’s existence: to bring glory to God alone.

Being a lawyer is a holy calling. It is my ministry. Whether I am representing an individual, a church, a school, a bank, or a company, I am honored to serve and advocate for those in need of legal assistance.

I have spent my career in large law firms dedicated to delivering top-notch legal services. At SDG Law, you will receive this same level of exceptional service, but at a price customized to the realities of your goals, budget, and case.

I assist religious organizations, non-profits, and businesses resolve their legal needs in a manner that honors their values and mission. From corporate disputes to constitutional litigation, I am passionate about providing superior customer service for my clients in and out of court. I also represent individuals, banks, lenders, and trustees in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings of various sizes and complexities.

I enjoy reading, assisting my wife in home educating our two children, traveling, and camping in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.

The firm’s logo represents the five smooth stones David chose for his battle with Goliath in

1 Samuel 17:40
Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine. (NIV)
.  Collectively, they signify the larger law practice, but just as it took only one stone to slay the giant, it takes only one lawyer at SDG Law to meet your legal needs, regardless of the size of the opposition.

If you’re looking for an attorney who will deliver premium service at a price commensurate with the problem, let’s talk. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate this season of your personal, business, or ministry life.
